ColombiaFantastic place, very well located, and good vibe. Great snorkeling spot nearby. The owners are very helpful to provide advice for diving and getting a scooter. They pick you up at the port. Remember to bring enough cash because the ATM in town does not take foreign cards.

He went to the wharf and had a sign in Chinese and as I passed he asked me if I recognised it. I said no, so he asked me where I was staying. I showed him in English and he said it was his B&B and he woudl give me a lift there. It is only about 200 metres from the ferry! I asked him how he knew, and he said that most people come on this ferry and he knew my age and that I was Western and alone. Also when I did not want to hire a bike he took me to the far end of the island for $NT200 and said if I did not want to walk back over a day as I suggested he would pick me up. He even drove me back to the ferry- 200 metres again. He has reasonable English and gives you his phone number.Guest review byArthurAustralia

The place is very clean, well equipped and has everything you need plus more. The beds are comfy and the room is a great size. Two living rooms means there is always space to rest. Helped me with renting an electric bike and going to/from the shop. Also let me check out later since my ferry back was very late. Furthermore, they explained about the island's tourist spots and were very patient with my Chinese. The experience was amazing and I loved every minute of it. The host was very accommodating with transporting us to and from the ferry dock (too far to walk). Normally people rent scooters on this island but we could not, so were restricted to things we could walk to. The two of us couldn't ride a motorcycle so we had to rent a driver, which was expensive (4500 twd for 1 day) but it saves you from riding near the cliffs/ in the dark at night. We went during the low season and the bus seemed unavailable (and we haven't seen one anywhere during our two-day stay). Would recommend visiting during summer (before October) to avoid the monsoon.
