Everything was AMAZING. The staff is incredibly nice and always made me feel welcome. I took a yoga and meditation class which were offer by the hotel, both the best clases I have ever taken. The food is delicious both diner and breakfast. My room was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable, and they go way beyond with all the toiletreats. The pool is also super niche and while the hotel does not have access to the beach, a 5 min golf cart will take you there. Great location too, near to trendy restaurants and artisan markets.

What can we say about Mahi Mahi? We will never forget the four beautiful days and nights we spent there. Perfect, peaceful location, away from the crowds. Near the village, where you can go around exploring on foot (do it & support the local community!!) Stunning view of the ocean, delicious food, abundant breakfast and very good choices for lunch or dinner - prices of the restaurant more expensive than what you find in local restaurants nearby but still quite affordable. All of the dishes delicious - congratulations to the chef, who btw took the time to come and meet us :) I tried the "chef's special" everyday during breakfast :). Clean, spacious rooms, you wake up and sleep hearing the sound of the sea. Now THAT is a memory to hold on to during winter. Amazing service - thank you Sifa, Skola (special thanks for the on-the-go Swahili lessons to my wife) Justin, Ilias, and I'm SO sorry I forget the names of all the other nice people that made our stay so wonderful, we thank you all! We spent two wonderful weeks at Kijani with our young children. Everything was perfect: beautiful design and views, a « desert island » feel on the beach, a stunning swimming pool with a very nice shallow area for kids. There is plenty of space so even if the hotel was fully booked it was always quiet and pleasant. The lovely staff made us feel at home. We 100% recommend it (it’s even more beautiful than on the pictures) and we will be back one day for sure!

The Residence was AMAAZZZING. From the rooms that each have a private pool to the staff who were EXTRA friendly. We enjoyed riding the bikes around the property. The food was good and Runi served us tasty cocktails at the beach bar. We visited for my Fiancé’s birthday and on his birthday they decorated the bed and gave us a complimentary cake with a sparkler and all. Shout out to Emmanuel and Yunsi* for the decorations. We also visited the spa and had a relaxing massage and they were able to accommodate us last minute. We also enjoyed riding the jet skis on the water. In the afternoons, they offer complimentary ice cream which was something we looked forward to daily. We also had some issues with our flight and the guys at the reception were gracious enough to lend us their phone to try and sort things out. Honestly this resort is worth every penny and we can’t wait to get back.

I love this place so much ! Beside the seaside view of the hotel , friendly staffs always ready to provide help , and beautiful decoration all around , lots of places to chill, like bar at the seaside, hammock , swimming pool, very tropical and African and Jamaica style also delicious food and drinks at reasonable price , in addition, good music taste ! if you also a fan of Reggae, then you will find yourself back at home:), also have cute big dogs hung around waiting for your petting without disrupting you, as they good at ease by themselves. You call also join the dolphin tour or other tours by the bar.

It's a wonderful place. The bungalows are awesome. A bit dark inside, but the atmosphere is great... white sand everywhere, thus you need flip-flops or similar only if you go outside the area for some trip. People are very friendly and helpful; you can completely switch off and enjoy your vacation in a wonderful place. This time did a lot of trips to enjoy the island, but next time, we will just come directly to this resort and don't move; just enjoying relaxing and refreshing mind and body.

We had such an amazing time during our stay at this resort. The hotel manager, F&B manager, and all staff were welcoming and treated by so well. Celebrated my birthday at the resort, and they make me feel so special. Thank you so much! We are very grateful to everyone for going out of their way to make us feel at home while away from home. Everything! The location, the accomodation, the people of the house as well as the people around..the beach is amazing and in our opinion mich better than other well-known places in Zanzibar . Everything - this hotel is paradise. We almost booked this hotel before booking Dongwe Club but after 3 nights at that other place we booked out and came to this piece of paradise. Faultless, beautiful, value for money and so good we extended by two more nights. I want to go back immediately.

Paje, beautiful place and beach, plenty of restaurants both on the beach and on the road. The only downside is that the beach is in the shade by 16:30 and very high and low tides makes taking a dip complicated !

A peaceful and welcoming town with a strong sense of community and a safe, relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a peaceful part of town, where there were noticeably fewer street vendors selling beads and souvenirs compared to other areas. This made the atmosphere even more calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten...

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

Beautiful beach, warm and calm ocean to swim in. Lots of eating options, amazing people. Yes, there are people trying to sell you things on the beach - but was quieter than other beaches (Like Paje) and they are all respectful.

This place is a gem! A new hotel with a big heart, right by the ocean, surrounded by peaceful gardens and a stunning pool. The rooms are spacious and stylish, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, and very friendly staff. The connection to the hospitality school is inspiring—it's not just a great stay, it’s also supporting something meaningful.. It’s rare to find a place that feels this good in every way. It was a great stay for me and my family. The best part of this hotel is the entire staff. Extremely friendly and courteous.Always smiling and greeting at every opportunity.A special thanks goes to Fadhila who made us and especially my daughter feel very special and welcome.The Manager was also very friendly and polite.Overall I would rate my stay as exceptional.

If you have only stayed at Sheraton, Marriott, Ritz, King...

If you have only stayed at Sheraton, Marriott, Ritz, King George or similar hotels - this is not your place. But if you are looking for clean beaches, clear sea, delicious food, peace, close contact with nature, friendly and courteous staff - this is it. There are many bars and small restaurants along the coast that offer a variety of food. In addition, in the town (of course African) you can buy products that are very fresh, and the people are friendly. Here you can buy handmade jewelry and souvenirs from the local population and the Masai.

Just up the beach from Paje town, a little quieter but thats what was nice. Wandered to different restaurants along the beach for lunch and dinner. Limited during off season but enough open. We came via Dar Es Salaam airport and ferry. If you can't get an e-visa before arrival, plan 2hrs to exit the airport. We missed our booked ferry and had to pay again for the last ferry on a different company. Used Zanzibar Quest to book the ferry and transport with exemplary service and support via whatsapp and email. The new travel insurance requirement $50p/p on top of the $50p/p visa fee is a scam that mars the experience. The amount of times we had to show our passport and visa / travel insurance was reminiscent of the cold war. Inefficient and overboard. So if you can fly direct to Zanzibar and use e-visa or have patience and a loose schedule. The drive to the Page beach area took about 1 ½ hrs with the first ⅓ taking ¾ of the time with a typical african road experience. Get a good driver. Driving licenses are issued by testing payment of fee. The driver booked by Zanzibar Quest was excellent. Great beach, wind was consistent during the afternoon to either kite or cool down. Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Not a fan of the immigration process or the fees.

Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional...

Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional always ready to help. They just couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff especially Yusef were very accommodating especially as we arrived very early from Dar-es-Salam! They let us drop our bags and enjoy all the facilities until our room was ready! We had a wonderful stay in Paradise.
