Diverse Sunshine State of Disney

The Sunshine State – Florida – has so much going for it that we hardly know where to begin! From Key West all the way to Jacksonville and Pensacola, this diverse state has magnificent beaches attracting beautiful people and exotic wildlife.

At its tip are the incredible Everglades, largely accessible only by air boat. East, Miami is known for its Latin American vibe and the Art Deco buildings of glamorous Miami Beach. Fort Lauderdale is nicknamed ‘Venice of America', while Palm Beach hosts the annual SunFest music festival. Panama City is a favourite Florida spring break destination, and Tampa has popular party spot Ybor City and Busch Gardens, one of many Florida theme parks.

The most famous are of course Walt Disney World, Epcot, SeaWorld and Universal Studios Florida. Orlando and neighbours Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista house a wealth of Florida hotels near Disney parks. South-west in Winter Haven is Cypress Gardens, while to the east is the Kennedy Space Centre, on an island by Cape Canaveral.

North is Daytona, best known for high-octane motorsports and a wonderful Atlantic beach.     Orlando is a great place to visit and it has a little bit for everyone. If you love amusement parks, great eats, cultural event, great weather, and drivable distance to beaches this is the place to visit. Whether you are here on business or decide you want to indulge in some shopping, Orlando has you covered. The night life in Orlando is great, and it has a niche for everyone. Whether you decide to take it easy and relax by campfire or you decide to dance the night away to many different cultural rhythms Orlando has you covered. Some notes to consider. Traffic in Orlando is insane, specially if you are planning to come around holidays or during busy times in the year. Although to be honest, it feels like Orlando crowds are always high. Prepare for tolls. Make sure you educate yourself regarding the many toll passes that Orlando has. During the summer it is hot, humid and wet. It rains a lot so if you are planning to go to the parks or do outside activities dress appropriately. Be patient, like I said Orlando is busy and has a lot of people in it, but make sure to immerse yourself in the culture and the things that Orlando has to offer. Get outside the Disney or Universal bubble and go out there and explore.

    A pretty good place for overnight stay and price is right. We got great Hispanic food from a local grocery where we were able to get essentials, was recommended a nice taxi service that we called several times and also booked for our 4am pickup to the airport. My favorite place to visit was Miami Beach. Next time I will be more prepared to visit the sites.

    I didn't like the fact that Housekeeping was knocking on the door at 9:00 to clean the room check out is at 11:00 she woke us up and I had to answer the door to tell her we would be leaving around 10:30-10:45 then she proceeded to have a conversation outside our door with another Housekeeper so we were not able to go back to sleep. I was not happy about this part of my stay. Otherwise I would highly recommend staying here, front desk staff was very friendly and very nice the inside was very nice as well didn't make the breakfast but next time we will

    Yes, it can be touristy but I have been coming to PCB for 55 years and I love it!! The beach is beautiful and the water is usually awesome as well. My biggest tip is go eat dinner early, you won't have to wait long, if at all. Get a decent beach umbrella. We use 2! Pack your patience!! The traffic can be annoying. We love to eat at Angelo's, Captain Anderson's , Pineapple Willy's, Runaway Island, Margaritaville.

    Clean and fresh! Every nice place to visit and vacate. My husband and I plan to return in 2026 just for vacation. Our experience together 2025 was for our niece wedding at The Clay Theater 09/20 which was 5 days before our Anniversary. An enjoyable experience in Jacksonville.

    Make sure you eat at Boston Lobster Feast on 192 , sign up for email and get $10 off buffet. Go to Al Capone dinner show, and definitely go to Medieval Times Dinner Theater. All of them are worth the money.

    I Love Key West in the Fall-in particular October.

    I Love Key West in the Fall-in particular October. It's lower rates at motels and so many good restaurants to eat at make this a wonderful R & R experience. I usually rent a bicycle to get around the local sites. The ocean at this time of the year is perfect with little to no people around. So if you're here for R & R or partying, this is the place to come.

    this is absolutely the most beautiful beach- lots of motels and resorts to choose from for any budget- lots of restaurants and shopping- tourists attractions for rainy days or bored children- family or single person destinations- come once and you will be coming back time after time
