It is a small lodge in quiet, peaceful surroundings. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve slept in on our trip. The gardens and pool are well maintained. The bar area is comfortable and a lovely space to relax away from your room. All meals are available but we only ate breakfast at the lodge. so I can’t comment on the lunch or dinner menus. Breakfast options were limited but provided enough to set you up for a day of activity. All the staff were lovely. Our events included the Boma drumming and dance dinner. It represents the traditions of African music an dance. The Food was amazing. The whitewater rafting trip was great for thrillseekers, but it included a very vertical climb up and down that isn't advertised and at 65 I struggled. The Victoria Falls tour was amazing, the path very easy and the view fabulous. The sunset dinner cruise in the Zambezi allowed us once in a lifetime views and the food was great. Our visit to Victoria Falls was absolutely wonderful. The breathtaking Falls were the highlight, offering unforgettable views that left us in awe. We loved exploring favorite spots like the vibrant local markets and the serene viewpoints around the falls. Dining was a delight, with standout meals at Three Monkey's and the Social Restaurant, where the food was consistently amazing. Getting around Victoria Falls was easy and convenient, making it simple to explore different areas. One of the most memorable experiences was seeing elephants casually walking through the streets, adding to the charming and authentic cultural vibe. The kindness of the people and the rich, beautiful culture truly made our trip special.
