the staff were fantastic in all areas of the hotel. The hotel in general exceeded our expectations whether it was the games and books in common areas to the exceptional food in the restaurant. The hotel is also a close walk to the black sand beach with a short 10/15 min walk. One of the best hotel finds on our trip with the staff looking after our little 2 year old Austen like family :)

Breakfast was good. The location couldn’t be better - literally in front of the Skogafoss waterfall, a must if you come to Iceland. Quiet place at night, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.

The cozy self check in Hotel Skoga is just 5 minutes walk from the spectacular Skogafoss Waterfall situated at the foot of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier.

It was amazing location, saw the northern lights at 1.30am. Cute little cabin just what we wanted!
