Lovely stay at 27, the place was super clean, nicely located and Glenn has been a perfect host helping us to get organised for both a transfer from the airport with the amazing Darrel and booking a great tuk tuk city tour in Colombo. The GFH lives up to its reputation. The location is unbeatable, probably the best-located hotel in Colombo, situated right on the oceanfront. One can never get tired of the view of waves crashing against the rocks, whether sitting at the FireBeach or at the King of the Mambo. The rooms are spacious, and although they have a distinct colonial charm, they are equipped with all modern amenities. The beds are large and comfortable. Then comes the food. The hotel has several restaurants, and we tried all the buffets. They were extensive and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.
