It was a very cute cabin with and amazing view at the lake.We had everything we needed for short stay,we could evening cook some dinner on the kichenette. It was also very reasonably priced compared to other cabins/apartment we stayed at on our Iceland trip

The guesthouse, housed in a building constructed in 1907 and imported from Norway, exudes historical charm, having previously served as a clothing and convenience store, art studio, and café. Our room was a testament to Scandinavian minimalist design, featuring original wood furnishings that added warmth and authenticity. The private bathroom was well-appointed with a walk-in shower and complimentary toiletries. The highlight was the balcony, offering breathtaking views of the fjord and surrounding mountains, providing a serene backdrop to our stay. The guesthouse’s central location proved advantageous, with Seyðisfjörður Harbour and the iconic Blue Church just a short stroll away, making it an excellent base for exploring local attractions. The self-check-in process was seamless, allowing us to settle in without delay. Adding to the charm of our stay was a local cat that seemed to own the street. This regal feline often caught the attention of tourists, adding a unique and endearing touch to our experience.

The property offers barbecue facilities and parking on-site. Excellent location. Best loo with a view. Cosy. Great hot tub and dark skies. Perfect for chilling as we were pausing the exploring. Good BBQ.

The 3-bedroom cottages at Langahlid Cottages all have an open-plan room with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The living room features a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Exceptional location overlooking the fiords and the town. Very nice host who came over to check all was good as we arrived in the middle of a storm. And he also brought chocolate cookies as a welcome gift! I would definitely recommend this place. You can really see that this cottage is cured with love by the owner.

From Laugarfell you have access to many hiking trails and you are close to the road leading to Askja. Laugarfell is accessible for all types of vehicles. Each holiday home has wooden interiors and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A sauna, hot tub and yoga mats are also available. The property was easy to find, and is very well located for day trips around Egilsstaðir. The house was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. There was a washing machine as well, which was very handy. The beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet, a bit outside of Egilsstaðir, but very quick to drive there. From the open area where the cottages are, there is a short path to a jacuzzi (which was spotless) and there is also a sauna. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The rooms at Snæfell - Hotel by Aldan feature a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Guests have access to a shared terrace overlooking the fjord. We stayed during down season, so we didn't expect it to be so quiet in the town. It was beautiful though and we enjoyed it very much. The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was lovely and right next to the pond.
