There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. We had a great one night stay in Dalahyttur, the surrounding ist amazing, the rooms brand new, warm and comfortable. The hosting woman is amazing, and so were dinner and breakfast. We had a delicate storm that night, but we fehlt secure and cosy.

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. It offers free Wi-Fi, along with an on-site restaurant and bar. Larger guesthouse with onsite restaurant. We stayed in a quadruple room with private bathroom. Room was large and clean with electric kettle in room. Included breakfast was good and a nice way to start the day.

Very helpful staff.

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. It offers free Wi-Fi, along with hiking, horse riding and glacier tours. Had one stay here. What a beautiful area. Was extremely satisfied with the room -- the pillows were actually really good! The breakfast was phenomenal.
