The staff is super friendly and helpful, there's always a smile for guests 😀 The rooms and bathrooms are clean and everyone seemed very respectful both in dormitories and common areas. The common space is amazing, there's a kitchen with everything you might need and a big table that's perfect to enjoy your meals while having a coat with other travelers. Cushions by the windows to sit back and relax are just great and there are books and games to play! Always water and tea available. I had my best time in Galway, will definitely come back!!

Apartments are situated over The Helm's bar and restaurant and in the Cinnamon Wharf complex, on the beautiful Westport Quay. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍

The location is peaceful and scenic, just a short walk to a beautiful beach with amazing views of Tory Island and the mountains. The pods were clean, cozy, and well-equipped—perfect for a comfortable stay close to nature. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, friendly, and helpful throughout. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in Donegal.

The property features garden and inner courtyard views, and is 3 km from Thomond Park. The homestay also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The accommodation was amazing, especially Mark and his family, who were incredibly kind. Mark, in particular, did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable. I arrived very early, but he had no problem checking me in right away. The rooms have a historical charm, and the surroundings look like something out of a fairytale. I’ll definitely be coming back.
