Omg what a beautiful place to stay! Everything was simply perfect - the beautiful tropical garden, the infinity pool with the views, the villa design, the welcoming staff and the overall facilities - I can't even get all the words to describe how impressive this place is. Santa Teresa is very busy and noisy but once you arrive at Hotel Horizon you are in an oasis of calmness and serenity. The pictures of the villa don't do it justice - it is so beautifully decorated, authentic, spacious and comfortable. All the little details are accounted for. It's probably our best stay in Costa Rica, and I do A LOT of research when I search for places to stay.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The service was exceptional, staff were friendly and always eager to assist with anything needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide selection of fresh, delicious options to start the day. As for comfort, the room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, with a cozy bed that ensure a restful night’s sleep. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic experience in Santa Teresa.

Absolutely everything. An incredible accommodation in an even more incredible location. But I go in order. Location: on top of a hill, on the very edge, with a spectacular view of the ocean and the town. The room is huge, designer decorated, with glass walls and a large terrace (from which you will not leave). (there is also a jacuzzi). All kitchen appliances, large TV with Netflix (I doubt you'll need it near this view). The bathroom is in style (also a view of the ocean and the place) large and brutally clean. Staff: fantastic. They will make sure you feel fantastic. Food: Great (some reviews write that the breakfast is less good and small) - I DISAGREE. For breakfast, you have exactly the choice you need, in large quantities and all with the highest quality products. (included, coffee, natural juice, sweets, bread, spreads and coffee) - and they let you choose where you will eat - breakfast in the room on the terrace is indescribable.

Common spaces, staff was really kind, helpful and willing to resolve any inconvenience. The rooms are very comfortable with enough space, proper lockers and even a desk for work. They always have clean and organized the entire hostel. I appreciated the front desk people like Josefina and Solange, and the volunteers like Mariah. Great work! The swimming pool and the view were spectacular. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food was also very good. We had a great time there and of course we will go back.

Everything. This property gets 5 star from me. Beautiful territory, beautiful yoga shala and pool, amazing uncrowded beach in 5 min walk. And what's more important (because I stayed in 2 more places at that location), it is located on the road, so Sim card will have connection and cars and taxis can reach easily even in heavy rain (It is important to consider while in Costa Rica). I think it is best option for yoga retreats and TTCs. Will do mine there next time! Also breakfast there was the most tasty than in other places. Lady there really cooked great.

This is an absolute gem in the southern Nicoya peninsula, perfect for pure relaxation and good dining. With a huge property and a small number of rooms, it is a haven of peace and tranquility with one of the most private and beautiful beaches we have seen in Costa Rica. The restaurant serves top notch food at reasonable prices - everything we tried was excellent and beautifully presented. Whatever your need, Hilde and her staff will do whatever to make it happen.
