We had an incredible stay at Happy Cretan Suites in Agia Pelagia, Crete. The suite with a private pool was simply stunning, providing a luxurious and relaxing experience. It's a perfect choice for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The hotel's location was nothing short of breathtaking, with mesmerizing views that allowed us to witness both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The proximity to Pelagia beach, just an 8-minute drive away, made it easy for us to explore the area and enjoy a variety of dining options. One of the highlights of our stay was the convenient access to exciting excursions, including quad bike rides and sailing adventures, all arranged by the hotel, which even provided transfers for added ease and comfort. The service and hospitality we experienced at Happy Cretan Suites were exceptional, and we genuinely felt pampered throughout our stay. It was my second time staying at this hotel, and I loved every second of it! The facilities, service, and food have all seen noticeable improvements, even though they were already excellent. I want to give a special thanks to Mara from the main restaurant, who made us feel welcome and looked after at all times. She is truly the warmest human being! The reservations team, along with everyone else, were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Thank you for another fantastic stay, and we will definitely be back!

A wonderful surprise – an unforgettable stay! We didn’t know this hotel before – we actually came across it by chance while planning our trip to Crete. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! We stayed at Out of the Blue Resort from September 7th to 14th, and we honestly couldn’t have picked a better time. The weather was perfect, the sea was warm and calm, and the hotel never felt too crowded. We're not sure if it's busier at other times of the year, but during our stay, everything felt relaxed and peaceful. The resort is a true paradise. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and a private beach that feels like a small bay – making the sea incredibly calm and safe for swimming. The outdoor restaurants offer stunning views, and the entire team was incredibly kind and attentive, always going out of their way to meet our requests. The main restaurant had a great variety of food at every meal, and the à la carte restaurants were not only delicious but also beautifully designed. Every night there was some form of entertainment – from live music, or dancers, or karaoke – which we really enjoyed. If we could offer one small piece of advice to future guests: bring insect repellent! The hotel does have a small shopping center where you can buy it at reasonable prices, but it’s good to come prepared. Also, if you want to make the most of the private beach, we suggest getting there early. We usually arrived around 7:45 AM and were always able to find sunbeds and umbrellas, but even at that time, many spots were already taken. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return in the future. Fun fact: we're from Portugal, and during our stay, some of the staff told us with great enthusiasm that the Portuguese national football team stayed at the hotel during the 2011 Olympic Games. They were thrilled to have met Cristiano Ronaldo and other stars from our team!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. This is absolutely the best place where we have been so far. Starting from the stunning location superb view of the Aegean sea and beautiful beaches nearby. Rooms cleaned every day, we have been served amazing food with lots of choices and entertainment was on every night after dinner. But the staff deserves a standing ovation...from the reception, shop, restaurant & kitchen, bars to the cleaners every single person went over and beyond to make our stay perfect. We have never seen a grumpy face (and working ourselves in the hospitality we know how kills this job)and we went at the end of the season which meant they all were very tired, but they all had a contagious smile on their faces. I fell in love with Greece but overall I love its people, they are the most kindest and caring persons I have ever met. I wish I could remember every single name to say thank you personally but I have a bad memory sorry. Thank you thank you. Hope you all have a well deserved break. We will surely see you again soon❤️
