It is very nice place with interesting design and very functional with great location. Great food. Wonderful Onsen! Fantastic nature and atmosphere.

Beautiful view of mount Fuji from traditional Japanese room. Perfect dinners and variety of food to chose from. The hot springs and yukatas add Japanese traditional feel. 5mins on foot there is ropeway which you can take and enjoy the view of forests and mountains. You can also use the hotel's shop to buy souvenires and alcohol. Highly recommended place. Outstanding stay

The food was probably the best I had during our trip in Japan - if you stay in this Ryokan, I strongly advise you to take this option. Open air onsens were really nice and cosy. The Ryokan is really close to the train station, it was really easy to get there.

The hotel is simply amazing. The architecture is phenomenal, we stayed at the Forest Wing and it is completely beautiful and comfortable. The personnel service is also great, as well as the spa and restaurants.

There is shuttle service available at Mt Fuji station for those who do not drive. The place looked great. We managed to have a clear view of Mt Fuji in the morning and it was breathtaking. There was even a brief moment when the Mt Fuji turned pink in the morning during sunrise. The hot spring and shower area looked like a private bathhouse. Food was normal and enough for us, but you can consider bringing additional food and snacks. There were A LOT of free beverages.
