The location is absolutely amazing and so are the staff. We couldn't speak Spanish and the staff were extremely accommodating. They set up a WhatsApp group which makes everything extra smooth. The staff were helpful in booking taxis (and translating our needs for various stops to the drivers). Highly recommend availing of the kayaks (free) and jet ski to see more of the lagoon. We walked along a lot of the lagoon and visually seemed to be by far the best location to stay.

Great place to stay and relax in Bacalar. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is very delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. We stayed in a 4 person room and found all amnesties to our fullest satisfaction.

The garden is lovely with nice hammocks and relaxing spaces including a pool. The staff are super helpful and attentive. The breakfast is delicious, varied and reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and modern with a nice shower. The rooftop has a great view of the lagoon and there are some board games you can play.

Nice spacious 2 bedroom apartment next to the pool. The children of 10 and 13 years liked the net and hamac/relaxing chair upstairs most. Good breakfast with several options like scrambled eggs, Mexican warm special dish, pancakes and toast. Nice restaurant, good food, not a lot of options but fine and good cocktails. Really kind staff, nice pool, liked this hotel most of the 8 hotels in Mexico. 5 minutes walk to city centre.

Hotel Sur is very nicely located, close to the Laguna and the town centre. They offer a private parking spot, laundry service for a fair price, and complementary breakfast. It's a small-scale accommodation with spacious rooms equipped with AC and a huge comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The pool was area was clean and inviting and a nice place to cool down and relax.

-The room was super lovely, spacious and just relaxing. -The barthroom was setup well, good shower -The room was also super clean which i like a lot -The location was so close the the city center it was really useful, just a 5 minute walk and you where in the big square of the town - The breakfast option was small in the restaurant(next door) but a welcoming gesture, with well selected options of quality dishes This is a good place if you visit Bacalar
