I do travel a lot and love to try out different hotels, many being excellent and some not so. However I usually don´t bother writing a review even though well deserved, apart from now. This hotel was incredible, rooms, facility, staff, service, spa area, restaurant, location and the list keeps on. Just exceptional in all regards.

This hotel is 20 minutes’ walk from Aveiro Station and 7 km from the Atlantic coast beaches. It offers business facilities and a stylish bar with a snooker table.

The room is great, with a nice space for evertything and very clean. The breakfast is also great with a lot of diversity of food.

The recently-renovated Meliá Ria is located in the heart of Aveiro, next door to the Aveiro Congress Centre. It features a restaurant, an indoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre.

It was our second time staying at this hotel and, once again, we absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is impeccable, probably the best we have ever had. The whole surrounding of the old ceramic factory gives the hotel a unique ambiance and there are plenty activities to be done there. Will definitely come back!
