An amazing find for a one night stay while travelling through the area. Was conveniently located to areas we wanted to visit and restaurants. The suite had all the amenities one would need for a week or more and was comfortable in every way, from the beds to the outdoor space.

We could watch the giraffes and the rhinos from our lodge. The location is excellent and the mountain view is beautiful. The restaurant is excellent (dinner and breakfast). The staff was very friendl and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at BergWood Inn. The owners were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent before and throughout our stay, especially when they reached out earlier in the day to check if we’d like dinner. It was so easy to arrange, and the homemade meal they prepared was absolutely delicious—better than any restaurant we tried during our stay in South Africa! Our room was cozy and well-equipped for winter, with both heating and electric blankets that made a big difference on the chilly nights. I highly recommend BergWood Inn to anyone visiting the area. It’s a warm, welcoming place with outstanding hospitality and food.
