Our plans were flexible and we decided to stay again in Manuel Antonio and this is when we found out about Mountain Top Hotel, which has THE BEST price-benefit ratio The beds are suuuuuuper comfortable, the views are breathtaking, the fact that you have a tour included is mind-blowing and they also have a really good breakfast! We did our tour with Jario, who was super nice, could speak very good Portuguese and who thought us A LOT about both fauna and flora of the area. We were able to spot quite a lot of wildlife (including the black and green poisonous frog!), which was the cherry on the top.

The hotel has a hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Lovely hotel just outside Jaco. Takes around 10 minutes drive. A 10 minute walk will get you to the beach where there’s a selection of lovely restaurants to choose from. Rooms are lovely clean and very modern. The breakfast is really good quality and a great selection.

This was one of the best stays we have ever had. Every detail was so peaceful and refreshing. Room was cozy and had everything you might need including AC. Pool and views were UNREAL GORGEOUS! All of our meals (breakfast & dinner) were exceptional quality and taste. Our host Yaan will forever be remembered!! The yoga class we attended with him was one of the most informative and resetting I have ever experienced. Also we received the best massages of our lives. The location felt very local but in a good way. We didn't have to bother with tons of other tourists. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we will be coming back. I would also note we did all the suggested excursions and had a wonderful time on all.

Great location, centrally located if you are there for the waves. Chill apartment 5 minute walk to the beach ( or less). Awesome host, super responsive and easy to chat with. 5 gold stars !

We loved the gardens, the home, the rooms, the lovely dogs Chika and Alaca, the great breakfast Ana made every day - how perfectly clean and serene everything was! We also had a sloth visitor (Alicia) in the backyard every day! I was so happy here I wished I could stay longer! We had a great stay and would love to visit again. Cannot recommend Ana’s place enough.

We have stayed here twice now. Great location just off the main road. There is a nice pool surrounded by greenery and birds. The property has parking close to the little casitas. There’s a restaurant and small market on the property. The casita has everything you need. AC, hot shower and comfy beds. Management is always there to answer questions or make a dinner reservation for you.

The hotel has an indoor pool, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Omg what a beautiful place to stay! Everything was simply perfect - the beautiful tropical garden, the infinity pool with the views, the villa design, the welcoming staff and the overall facilities - I can't even get all the words to describe how impressive this place is. Santa Teresa is very busy and noisy but once you arrive at Hotel Horizon you are in an oasis of calmness and serenity. The pictures of the villa don't do it justice - it is so beautifully decorated, authentic, spacious and comfortable. All the little details are accounted for. It's probably our best stay in Costa Rica, and I do A LOT of research when I search for places to stay.

There is also a sun terrace where guests can relax, read, and enjoy the view. Clean spacious rooms. Beautiful surroundings. Close to town. Excellent breakfast. Very effective and friendly service. Great value!

Other facilities offered at the property include a ticket service, a tour desk and luggage storage. The stay at Hotel Belmar was really something special. I stayed twice at this place during our road trip through Costa Rica. The pure nature of Monteverde, the architecture of the hotel, and also the atmosphere of the hotel make this really a special place and we had no other place in Costa Rica where we felt like at home as we did here. I did a tour to the Madre Tierra farm with my daughter and a horseback ride. It was such a beautiful experience we will never forget. The breakfast and dinner was perfect and the restaurant is so beautiful with a remarkable view over the cloud forest. We will really miss this place as it sparked magic and means something to us.
