Situated conveniently in the centre of Kathmandu, Shuvatara Suites & Spa, Thamel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Conveniently set in the Thamel district, this hotel provides a terrace, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, an ATM and currency exchange for guests. Shuvatara Suites and Spa exceeds all expectations. First of all, they organized a transfer from the airport (included in the price) and an early check-in which was a blessing after 8 hours of flying and early morning arrival. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning works perfectly, great shower with hot water, nice and soft bedding, plenty of lighting scenarios. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and there are many options for eggs and beverages. The staff were super kind and helpful, always there to answer questions and guide the guests through hotel services. Unfortunately I could not enjoy the spa being very tired, but sauna & jacuzzi available free of charge are definitely a treat. The restaurant and rooms have a breathtaking views as well. The area around the hotel is well-maintained and pretty. I easily found a yoga studio, coworking space, coffee and food spots within 5 minutes walk. So if you are jet lagged like I am, you’ll easily be able to stay within a short radius and not get yourself too tired. I totally recommend to stay here!

This hotel is really really good at their services,not too much just the perfect way:like old friends warmly and friendly~also it’s not the big fancy hotel ,the manager Kandel is really good at managing,the staff are doing really good at the details!if you are lucky,you will have a snow-capped Mountain View when you had breakfast! I would definitely come back again and recommend to everyone who is in Pokhara! 10 scores for sure!

Tibetan inspired decoration and confortable room Staffs are friendly and thoughtful The hotel has their own driver for daily tour at a reasonable price. And they can provide information /suggestion if you prepare trip to other places. Restaurant provided really good food

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Absolutely divine hotel amongst the dust and chaos of Kathmandu. We have stayed here twice and wouldn't consider anywhere else. Always clean, professional, safe, comfortable, and filling (breakfast buffet). We stayed here as a family and really appreciated Sachin's warm character at breakfast. He is the epitome of customer service and charm. They will store luggage for you while you trek, too! Heater in the room works a charm, beds are fluffy and clean, elevator if you're on a higher floor, beautiful rooftop terrace for meals, very clean rooms, and very hot water. Perfect!
