it's a newly renovated town house, very nicely decorated. all facilities worked well, esp. the floor heating and sauna were so much needed after a long walk in the snow. around the house there are CVS, beef shop and other groceries. worth a walk around

The owner was super responsive. I have absolutely zero complaints about the accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect for walks into the old town, Miyagawa morning market, Takayama Jinya etc. The owner also operates a coin laundry just next door. With state of the art washing machines, it was super convenient.

Very spacey accommodation in traditional Japanese style, but all the facilities are very modern & new and exceptionally clean! We also really enjoyed the garden, free coffee and the well equipped kitchen. We only stayed here for one day but I reckon a family larger than us can very comfortably stay here and cook also.
