We had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable homestay for two days, from December 13th to 15th, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The property boasts stunning views and is impeccably maintained, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting. The owner is incredibly polite, helpful, and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The breakfast served was a highlight, featuring homemade delights such as fresh strawberry juice, jam made from their own farm, and a delicious banana milkshake. Each item was thoughtfully prepared and exemplified the homestay’s dedication to quality and hospitality. Our accommodation was spacious and well-appointed, offering excellent value for the price. The owner also provided invaluable recommendations for the best local dining spots and must-visit attractions, enhancing our overall experience. This homestay combines outstanding service, exceptional amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to explore the area. Hand down one of the BEST hotels ive stayed in Sri Lanka. I have stayed in many hotels across the world and this one stands out as truly amazing. A hidden gem. Firstly the property is immaculate! Clean and beautiful! The scenery is breathtaking, we couldnt stop taking videos of it from the balcony, the garden and inside. Bathroom is huge, overlooking the scenery. Fresh flowers in bathroom and dining table. It smells very nice as soon as you walk in. Location is very convenient. But what has trully blown us away is the service. The staff are on another level. Firstly they message you with information before you even reach. Once u reach you receive royalty treatment with a smile! Shameera is always available to help, assisted us in ordering food and arranged to light a bonfire for us in the garden with blankets. We enjoyed the stars and warm fire, very cosey. They even gave us a special surprise at the end of our stay. I honestly wish i could stay longer and will definitely return. It is worth every penny.

Room is excellent, right spacious, superclean with warm blankets (can be usefull in region). Great view from patio. Location is nearby the lake, but still not far from the city. For us pleasant stay, highly recomended!

The Langdale is a slice of heaven. True old world charm, in the most beautiful old historic hotel where you feel as if you are a guest in someone's home. Small and understated. The view from the balcony room is unforgettable. A place to enjoy a good cup of tea, looking at the tea plantations that surround you. And you can also see the historic Radella cricket ground from the hotel. My only regret is that I had to come alone on this trip, so couldn't enjoy the beautiful lawn tennis court.
