This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi.... From the moment I booked until the day I left, Marva made me feel like a family member. She coordinated pick up from the ferry port, met me at the property to let me in and spent a considerable amount of time showing me where everything I needed was. Many places I have stayed offer a breakfast option…Marva took the time each morning to COOK me breakfast and bring it to my apartment! The space itself seemed brand new. Comfortable furnishings, solid WIFI (I am a digital nomad), a ton of natural light and clean. I have stayed all over the emerging and Caribbean world and have realized that insects and reptiles are always room mates. Not here. Not ONE ant, lizard, mosquito made an appearance while I was there. Marva’s property is located a 2 minute walk from two groceries that will have what you need for a long stay. The best beach on Union Island is a short 15 minute walk or less than 3 by taxi. If you are visiting Union Island, skip the resorts and stay here. You will NOT be disappointed!

Hotel in Union Island ( 2.3 miles)
Facing the beachfront, Tenuta Chatham Bay offers 4-star accommodations in Union Island and has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and garden. Yes, to get to the property, you have to take a water taxi- but we got in after dark and had no problem finding someone who could take us over to the property by boat. Even including the price of the water taxi, it was still totally worth it. The staff was SO sweet- Milan and (I'm sorry I don't remember the Polish girl's name!!). We only got to spend one night here because of our tight trip schedule but we wished we had stayed way longer. So peaceful, so perfect having each room separate, the best views, and AMAZING food and drinks and staff. This is an absolute MUST visit for anyone who happens across Union Island. It's just non-negotiable.
Mayreau Island (2.9 miles from Union Island Airport)

Difficult to put into simple words. Beautiful as are all of the Grenadines. But also very different. Beach at Chatham Bay was stunning, Difficult to get to but more than worth the effort. Snorkeling good close to the beach even better near the headland, not super rich in Corals, but amazing fish, and even octopus Frigate Island was recommended as a good snorkeling, however I found it dangerous, with strong currents and poor viability. The nearby mangroves made up for it. Not brimming in sea-life, but you will see lot of stuff not seen else where - barracuda, and exotic jellyfish.
An idyllic paradise which moves at a slower pace of life. The beaches are nice. There are a few bars and restaurants to check out. Also if there are any cultural events happening when you are visiting make sure you take them in. Also there is a kitesurfing school for those adventurous to try.
