This stay was one of our favourites of our entire trip. The host was so generous and kind. Upon hearing of my partner's leg injury, she surprised us with a special tea to help promote healing. We loved the space and the attention to detail was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The host customized the breakfast based on a couple conversations we had. Everything was delicious, and we were even given a detailed list, in English, of everything she prepared for us. The breakfasts at this stay were a highlight of our entire trip to Japan. We will definitely try to stay here again when we're back in Kyoto!

The area is beautiful and very natural. The Onsen is well kept and staff is friendly, although communication was sometimes difficult as an English speaker, but never an obstacle. Meals were included in the stay, very traditional breakfast and hotpot dinners, healthy and delicious. There is also an adorable dog that lives on the property.
