We love everything about Jiufen Cafe Sleep. The host was very helpful, the accomodation was unique, clean and well equiped. The breakfast was delicious. The location is superb!

The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

A Promised Land BnB tiene vistas al mar y está en Jiufen. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de traslado gratuito, cafetería, jardín y terraza. Really nice surprise, super big room, very clean, very tasty breakfast! Really good coffee. We mentioned last minute (sorry!!) that we were actually vegetarian and the owner disappeared to the kitchen and made a really nice French Toast as an alternative. The owner was so helpful even arranged a machine to dry our super wet shoes😍 that saved the next day!

Twilight Forest está a 34 km de Mercado nocturno de la Calle Raohe y ofrece jardín, además de alojamiento con aire acondicionado, patio y wifi gratis. The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

The apartment was really nice and a good location withing walking distance of everything (lots of hills, but that's everywhere). Our kids liked having their own rooms and there was a nice-sized living room. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Jiufen Back Yard Homestay está a 33 km de Mercado nocturno de la Calle Raohe y ofrece alojamiento conjardín, salón de uso común y servicio de habitaciones. Hay wifi gratis. The warm hospitality of the host. We deeply appreciated the tips and tricks to navigate the old streets and to get the best view of the area (we were quite lucky to experience jiufen with clear skies at sunset). Mr Fang also introduced us to his rabbits and a few resident cats, the whole experience was just superb!
