I don’t know where to even start, just WOW! Since the moment I arrived, the owner Gudrun received me with open arms and gave me a map right away with places to visit around Snaefellsnes! She was very sweet and caring! The cabin was absolutely wonderful, equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The dinner both night was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The lamb and the pasta were SOOOOO GOOD! Worth it every penny! The breakfast was also wonderful. Gudrun really cares about her visitors, and you can truly tell by the way she helps and is always available, plus she’s a wonderful cook! As a solo traveler, it truly made me feel like home, which honestly, was the best! I’ve been in Iceland for 2 weeks now and have stayed at 10 different places, this one has been BY FAR! The best! What a wonderful stay!

El Glass roof lodge with private hot tub está situado en Reykholt. incredible location in the middle of nowhere, deafening silence! The hot tub was a real treat. Its cosy and small but has everything you need, we cooked dinner and then slept under the stars!

El Klöpp Lodge - Snæfellsnes Peninsula se encuentra en Stykkishólmur, a solo 6,7 km de Sjónarfell, y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al mar, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratuito. This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

I liked the overall ambiance and location of the hotel. It was a bit pricy but overall a good experience.

El The Little House se encuentra en Bolungarvík y ofrece jardín, wifi gratis y vistas al mar. Loved the place. Gave us the feeling we were Icelandic. Very quiet.

El Cabin 3 at Lundar Farm está situado en Borgarnes. Se encuentra a 30 km de Húsafell y ofrece estacionamiento privado gratuito. The property was wonderful. well equipped kitchen, enough space to put your stuff. self check in and check out. you can watch and even pet the animals on the farm. And on top of all Borgarnes is a very interesting and beautiful place. though the property is a few kilometers away. its a must visit.

The cabin is cosy and warm. However, the best part of our stay were the farm animals! Our son absolutely loves animals. The owner asked us if he wanted to help feed the horses. We got a tour in the stables and my son could pet the beautiful horses and ask a lot of questions about them. We also visited the sheep in another building. If you like farm animals you should definitely stay here!

El Cabin 1 at Lundar Farm se encuentra en Borgarnes. Este lodge cuenta con jardín y estacionamiento privado gratuito. Such a wonderful place, and very friendly host. We didn’t know it was a horse breeding farm, but the kids were so happy when they found out. We loved the area. It’s remote, and our navigation system led us the wrong way first, but it was so worth it. 😀😀😀😀
