One of the best Booking.com experiences thanks to BESOTEL Erkrath- Ferienwohnungen und Apartments. They know what they are doing, so I ask other hotels/places/etc. to look at their website or Booking.com page and see how they serve their customers or people who are traveling a lot. I use Booking.com very often, and this place entered my top 5 - well done!
Specifically, beds are great. Cleanliness is great. The location is great, a very quiet area. Close to supermarket Lidl. Close to Total gas station (if I remember the name correctly). You can find whatever you need in the kitchen. I liked the balcony as well.

We went there to visit Dusseldorf and the Christmas Market, but we enjoyed the nearby nature and Neanderthal Museum much more. Especially the Museum is worth the trip with its complex and thought provoking exposition.

There is a lot of outdoor activity possibilities in this area. It's worth of being familiar about the Neandersteig. Shopping possibilities are good and Düsseldorf is just a couple of train stops from Erkrath. The S-bahn is easy to use even if you were there first time.

I really liked the area. Plenty of places to visit. I was visiting my sister and we used her car to get around. Wuppertal is well worth a visit as is Schloss Burg, located in Burg an der Wupper (Solingen). It is the largest reconstructed castle in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany and a popular tourist attraction. Its early history is closely connected to the rise of the Duchy of Berg.

The rooms are brand new, very clean and with modern sanitary facilities. The swimming pool is not a swimming pool but an unheated swimming pond that seems to be meant for the sauna guests. There is a small cosy terrace at the swimming pond and also a terrace at the restaurant. The restaurant (with bar) has a limited menu. The kitchen is very good.
