very good welcome from the staff, huge bathroom and magnificent shower, air conditioning, comfortable beds and electric blackout windows, although I did not eat on the premises, the food smell delicious and the owner even has a cookbook published. I will try next time.

The location next to the castle is of course fantastic but what i pressed me the most was the lady (Sandra?) at check-in: she knew i was arriving at 10 pm, after an intercontinental flight with a delay from Disseldorf airport so she just took me to my room saying “you must be very jet-lagged so don’t worry about the check-in: we’ll leave the paperwork till tomorrow morning. Have a good night, Sir”
This was the smoothest and most perfect check-in I ever experienced, still grateful about her understanding of a traveler’s needs!
And also a great breakfast on the terrace with excellent service 👍
