Perfect location- next to motorway and 5 min walk from train station. Manager was very helpful helped us to order halal food from a takeaway nearby in French. Wasn’t too busy and free parking. We were two women with 3 kids but felt very safe.

The location, next to a park, lake and walks was great. Also close by was a retail park with cinema and bowling alley and a lot of eating places to chose from.

As a first time stay at this hotel could not fault it ,

Even the atmosphere with other guests was friendly and relaxed,
The food was lovely and well presented and the room was nice ,clean and fresh There was plenty of space and clean bedding,serviced daily shower and toilet were separate, even a safe In your room , the pool was lovely and clear,
Nothing was ever a problem for the staff to feel fully refreshed and relaxed from the experience.

We booked 2hrs before we arrived because it said it had late check in until midnight and was a good location to the motorway.
When we got the barrier 11pm it was closed and the touch screen pad to put our booking ref did not work. I called the number and it went to an answer machine. After 20 minutes of frustration I finically got a call on my mobile and I was told by the receptionist that they had been a asleep!
They obviously were not expecting us! The room was clean but only one of light bulbs worked and the showers did not work but it did have a bath.
It is a real shame as the place was perfect in many aspects but was let down by a few things. Would I stay again - maybe.
