This is such a gem of a guesthouse to stay in. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, the building is full of character and it is always a pleasure to see Jacky. The food is always superb and makes the stay very enjoyable.

Alison was very helpful and accommodating with my late arrival. She was friendly, and our dogs got on well! The room was really pleasant and comfortable.

Wonderful welcome. Safe off street parking. Very dog friendly. Nice enclosed garden with seating areas. Bar and breakfast offered but no restaurant onsite, however staff make recommendations and reservations. We ate at the Haut Ministere which was 10 minutes walk and had an excellent, good value meal. No a/c and some rooms face the street although it is not noisy I would recommend requesting a room facing the garden.

About half way into our journey from England to the Charente Maritime, it was close enough from the A 28 motorway (20km approximately) but far enough to be very peaceful and at the heart of this beautiful countryside.
