We loved everything! The staff is great, very welcoming, the rooms are new and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, a selection of over 15 dishes to choose from or combine… We were there off season (April), and we had the chateau for ourselves, so this was a great too! Up a hill to the south of town - about a mile to walk from the bus station. But the advantage of this is that it's in a quiet neighbourhood with little traffic. Inside, the house is rather grander than it appears on the outside, with parquet floors everywhere of which the friendly hostess is justly protective. I imagine that in clear weather there would be grand views to the mountains. My small single room was cosy and very good value.
