The area is far from any civilization, so if that's your jam, you'll like it. There's a hostel across the street where you can find a few people playing pool or chess. It takes a taxi ride ($2k to $3k INR) to go on any day trip. Overall, it was an "okay" experience, but I should have stayed at a better hotel (for more money).

Anjuna beach was about 3.5 km from our hotel.
Anjuna beach was about 3.5 km from our hotel. It was overcrowded and quite dirty. The flea market is good if you can bargain well.
To get around it is advisable to rent a bike or car. However, a bike is preferable as the roads are narrow.
Must try cafes and restaurants nearby:
Baba Au Rhum
Elephant & Co.

There’s some good food and service , and the vibe is good at Artjuna
If you’re into the sports bar thing , Bobby’s Fat Fish is good , with a very good fish thali .
But the many small stalls , and the large liquor outlets really detract from the small town’s appearance I think , it’s hard to find a little tea shop , serving fresh samosas and chai .
But the worst thing for me , is the abundance of techno music , blaring out from empty places , like there’s a dance party on every corner .

Anjuna is a great and relatively central location in North Goa. Calangute/ Baga and Siolim were both only 5-6 kms away from Anjuna. Making the overall internal travel much cheaper. Unless all places on your list are in Baga, I strongly suggest living in Anjuna instead. Vagator and Ozran Beach and all their beach side restaurants are only 2 kms away. Definitely try Bacchu's for their coffees and Lush by the cliff for the seaview sundowner.
A peaceful retreat nestled alongside Anjuna beach, with Curlies being at walking distance. The property has super clean and hygienic rooms/dorms with the most courteous and fun loving staff. So much so, that people have been living here for months at a stretch. The vibe may not be all “party like”, but you ought to be here for the great conversations and yummy food prepared by the ever sweet Milan Bhaiya. All in all, one of the best hostel experiences in Goa.
This is very beautiful and stylish old Portuguese villa. If you visit Goa first time you should stay here in historical place and to feel the atmosphere! There is big beautiful swimming pool and nice big garden. The hotel team are really great, special thanks to Betina Faria, she helped me with all my need and she is very kind and professional! We begins friends! For sure I’ll come back and I’ll recommend this place to all my friends!
Usually goa is about hotel or resorts and same was my thinking till the time I stayed in this Goa cottages.
Cottages are neat and clean & well equipped like Ac, tv, Wi-Fi. They have one restaurant in the Center of all cottages which serves delicious cuisines.Beach is 5 10 min walkable distance from the property which is really clean. Staff is really helpful and make your stay comfortable.
This was my second stay within 10 days after hopping around different hostels in Goa. The energy of this place is really unique, and a fun relaxed vibe. I really found myself in there.
Regarding the usual check-lists it has them all: clean bathroom & rooms, comfy beds, proper good food, super friendly staff and perfect location a few mins away from both sides of Anjuna beach.
The deluxe double room at Arzu Homes in Anjuna, Goa was fantastic! Everything, from the facilities to the friendly staff, was top-notch. The room was comfy and beautifully designed. The location was just perfect - peaceful yet close to the beach and and a lot more. It was a truly luxurious and memorable stay. I'd give it a perfect 10! Staying here was a real treat!
I stayed here for 5 days. A nice unassuming and quiet villa/building with limited rooms which means there's no hustle and bustle of the hotels you usually find in Goa.
A common working area is great to park yourself for work. The rooms are basic but clean and big enough for 3 people with a generous sized balaconies.
Priced quite resonably too.
In General the hotel itself is okay, but nothing to be compared to its sibling Fairfield by Mariott GOA Benaulim. I did have to stay here because I was trying to extend my stay at Benaulim and didn not get, that there are 4 Fairfield by Marriott at GOA. It turned out to be a different property, so be careful)
We loved the breathtaking ocean view from the property, the place is so relaxing that one can forget about their problems, coconut trees are all around, the place has quite good amenities too, if anything is missing you can ignore it as the property has the lovely view, a must stay in Anjuna North Goa.
The owner impeccably manages and maintains this serene property, evoking a sense of peace and tranquility with its abundance of antique and heritage elements.
Curlies and Anjuna beach is within walking distance. You don't even need a scooty to travel. Location is perfect for a getaway in goa.
Lovely place. Decor is old goan... Colorful and vibrant. The overall feel of Casa Anjuna is something you cannot get in any hotel. The swimming pool is good too. The beach and the flea market are very close...we walked down sometimes..a big plus though this is not located on the main road.
What a gem of a property in the heart of North Goa. Didn't know a property like this existed. The property takes you to the old world charm, rooms are so beautiful. Food is so healthy, neatly made and homely. So near to the beach. Loved the stay over all. Will be back in a few months
I really liked the location as it was near a main road and plenty of bars and food options. The hotel also has a lot of potential as the decor is actually very interesting. The front staff, the young lady and man were cool and tried to be as accommodating as they could be.
Close to the street food area and a few minutes drive to Anjuna beach.
Since this is a new property, the services are good and the property is well maintained.
AC was working fine, the rooms were clean and there was a nice space. It is a great deal at this price.
Wonderful experience..quite couple friendly atmosphere and rooms.anjuna beach is just 5 Min walk away..staff is quite friendly, specially Divya..overall good stay with affordable prices.
Value for Money, Property locations, Rooms are big and can easily accommodate 6 people.
I will definitely book this property whenever I visit North Goa.
