Hated Baga, dirty, noisey, crowded, crasse, will never return to Baga or Calangute

History has made this a very special place.
History has made this a very special place. The churches remain, but the city in which they were located is gone. The churches are well-maintained and there is information about them. Busses from Panaji are frequent, but ask at the bus station because it's easy to end up on the wrong bus there. Short taxi ride from Karmali station.

It is isolated, ideal in times of the pandemic since it isn't too crowded. The resort is beautiful with a lovely pool ideal for both kids and adults. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is laid out at the poolside. Our room was overlooking the pool. You can visit the island on cycle or bikes. Beautiful views and gorgeous place.
