Great place, a genuine seaside resort with character and down to earth. A thriving place but not full of beautiful people just a simple town with some interesting Alleys and shops. it has everything there and we liked it and would visit again.

Arenzano is a nice pleasant town with some nice restaurants...
Arenzano is a nice pleasant town with some nice restaurants in the back streets and at the marina, le Sins and Ochin da Ma being favourites. The latter was particularly good value as is €30 for 4 courses plus coffee and a digestive but the menu is all fish and mostly fixed, just a choice of 2 mains. There were 2 starters but they served you both anyway. Le Sins is in the Marina so you can sit by the water and the owners are a delight. Pulupaio next door is good as well. Is say 3/4 days is enough. The worst aspect of Arenzano and the Italian Riviera generally is the privatisation of the beaches. Irrespective of the cost of parasols and sun beds, which is very high €20-40 per day, the view from the promenades and the sense of being by the coast is completely spoiled by a plethora of changing rooms and kiosks.

Traffic caos . No distance respect in town .
Traffic caos . No distance respect in town . It seems that the coming back to normality is even worse ( something hidden before) and the pollution is on highest level and the access to sea is barricaded by commercial activities : if seems that they hide the sea !

Lovely village/town on the main route along the coast.
Lovely village/town on the main route along the coast. Beautiful town hall. Fantastic market on Fridays. Station handy to visit Genoa and other areas. Easy to get to via motorway. Several fantastic restaurants and plenty of choice. The beach however, is not great with large sections reserved for private use and lots of stones. Definitely need swimming shoes.

Walking to the local restaurant was dangerous
Walking to the local restaurant was dangerous
Some 500 metres away with no sidewalk and fast traffic
In the dark it could have been a problem
Staff were excellent and very helpful
Parking outside our room was a real bonus
Breakfast was excellent
Swimming pool should be warmer. We think that the sun blinds prevented heat from the sun warming the water.
Hot tub had too many chemicals but understandable with children using it.
We and our dog felt right at home. We were welcomed with open arms and an open heart. The hotel owner is an absolutely delightful lady, who we chatted with about everything the whole time we stayed at the hotel.
She feed us and our dog and even packed us the delicious Italian food for our way back home. We decided to meet again in Arenzano or Napoli )))
Arriving in Genova with the ferry from Palermo it is a convenient half hour drive from the harbour.
Lively seafront, bars and restaurants at choice.
Good hotel, owner somewhat uncooperative after late arrival. Wonderful room, excellent breakfast included in the price.
Have been there three times now and will come again.
We were driving from France to Italy and chose this place for a bed and breakfast - a place to sleep, have breakfast and continue our ride. The place was perfect for this goal. Just 1 km from the highway with lots of free parking, we came, checked in, slept, had breakfast, and back in the car. Practical and convinient.
Huge room with balcony and nice view.
Perfectly clean and extra care for lighting.
Parking accessible directly via elevator is probably unique, or very rare at least.
A real hotel, I would repeat without any doubt.
Just near highway exit.
Staff very friendly.
Comfortable double bed, working air conditioning, extremely clean bathroom. Very convenient to reach the beach, restaurants and other services of Arenzano. The staff waited for us beyond the expected arrival time.
I had an exceptional stay at Ulivi and would highly recommend. Massimo at the front desk was very kind and helped with all my needs. Next time I come back to Arenzano I will definitely book here. Ci vediamo.
definitely more than expected and very good value for the price. We had a great time, booked a second night and will go back if our travels will take us to Arenzano again. Be aware of the dog :-)
One of the best places to stay around Arenzano. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also decent. I m visiting again for sure.
Location is good. Beach are in front. there are many restaurant and bar around the hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful. They help us to find the proper space to park our car.
The location, scenary and staff were nice, the town itself was okay, although hospitality at restaurants was not typical Italian. The room was fine, but nothing special.
Good location, sea is very near. Place is located between Arenzano and Cogoleto reachable by foot along the sea shore. comfortable apartment. good for family stay
Very nice hotel in front of the beach. Very friendly and helpful people. Good breakfast. Free parking at the hotel.
Only air conditioning could be better
