The location and view was superb. We drove our car to the train station 5 minutes away with free parking and hopped on a train to Rome to see all the sites. It was such a treat to come back to this peaceful property with a comfy bed after a busy day being a tourist in Rome.

Quiet and comfortable. Gated entry and only 5 units for a very private stay. The grounds and pool were pristine. The location was only 30 minutes drive outside city center and a train station nearby.

Being a last-minute reservation, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s grounds. It was nice having a late check-in available. Plentiful breakfast and fairly direct, 30-min drive to FCO airport.
Was convenient for walking the via Francegina on the outskirts of Rome. The main building is under renovation outside, painting maybe, with scaffolding around it, whilst that is not an issue, we couldn’t use the balcony we had booked as there was grit and chips of concrete etc on the balcony. Our original room was nicely decorated but very noisy. The hotel arranged another room in the other older building of the hotel, which was dated with no balcony, but was very quiet.
They let me chek in early. One of the best hotel I visited on the Via Francigena. very good brekfast (boild eggs, diffrent sorts of bread, juice ++++ - not only ‘cakes’). The bathroom was not large (mentioned by others - but I had no problem with it. it was clean, it included what I needed. Air conditioned worked, the room was cold and fresh, and the bed included what I needed to be warm.
The hotel is conveniently located for the Via Francigena. Staff were friendly and helpful, but not able to address some problems. The bed was comfortable and we were given a large, quiet room at the back away from the busy main road, as requested. Breakfast was very good.
Modern rooms. Views from front. Very nice staff who speak English. Balcony for room but fairly quiet given hotel is back from road and up high. Bigger breakfast than most places. Very efficient breakfast host
Nice man.
Hotel Cassia is quite deceiving from the outside. We had low expectations and were very surprised. A new renovated room, very comfortable bed, fresh, clean bathroom and a great breakfast the next morning.
Probably once a great hotel, now, however, rather tired..
Location not the best, in terms of restaurants etc.AC worked well as did the fridge,. Kettle, tea, coff. appreciated
A great location on the Via Francigena. Clearly they hotel catered for this clientele as there was a peregrino special. Great breakfast included in the room rate.
