The host was very responsive to messages and the unit was very well equipped for an international traveler. Everything worked great and was in great condition.

We love our stay at Villa Campestri and go there atleast once a year. The owners and staff are wonderful and the property is just beautiful. We love the animals, and pools and the area!

This is a quintessential family owned (4th or 5th generation) inn. The facilities have all been updated and well maintained. The inn is furnished primarily with furniture from the early 20th century (not the mattresses, those are new) -- Biedermeier, art nouveau with some 1940s lighting. For a design buff it was so much fun.
The common/breakfast rooms are comfortable, charming and eclectic. The breakfast was plentiful. I found myself wish we were staying longer as I want more time to hang out there and see more sights around the small town (we were hiking. la Via degli Dei).
