This was obviously a top class hotel but needs some tlc, having said that the room we had was fabulous, some of the plumbing was a little tarnished but everything worked well and the room/bed was very comfortable and clean, the bathtowels were soft and fluffy and although we used this for an overnight stop it was ideal

From the outside it looks like another building in Rubiera, but once inside, it is transformed into first class Swiss establishment. The furnishings look new and are well thought out. Ermellina is an amazing hotel, with very spacious comfortable room and amazing hosts (the best part) that can help you navigate through Modena region. Definitely one of my best stays in Italy, strongly recommend it and I will definitely be back!

This place is now in our heart, the staff is amazing, the food is one of the best ever tried (and we are Italians)! The hotel is also very good and comfortable too.
