The view from this hotel is amazing, and its just offset enough from town views to be just right. The hotel public spaces are nicely done. Rooms are comfortable, albeit basic. Staff at front desk is great.

Village location in a side Valley of the Douro, with easy vehicle access to Regua (12 min) for the Porto rail line and a variety of Douro River transport. We ate in small local cafes, in Regua restaurants and self catered for snack meals. Walking the village road system for valley views is rewarding.
