The desk lady provided a few basic breakfast items at 4 am. Very nice gesture! The shuttle to the airport was adequate.

I went there on business, surrounding restuarants were adaequate. This is an industrialised town that is in decline, surrounded by vast countryside. You need a car and friends or business colleagues to make the trip enjoyable.

Being a city off the beaten tourist track, Syracuse has great prices for lodging, tickets, super quiet to drive and park, use public transportation, walk in the mall, visit sights.
When I left Syracuse, I went to New York City (NYC).
It is the 3rd time I go to NYC, but this time I felt the huge difference!
NYC is noisy, cars honk non-stop; people are in a hurry all the time; the traffic is chaotic; lodging, food, etc. everything is much more expensive! I wanted to go back to Syracuse the same day, too bad I couldn't.

Large old industrial town.
Large old industrial town. Downtown area has great old buildings. Niagara Mohawk building is amazing. Talking Cursive Brewery is across the street. It’s woman and veteran owned with great award winning beer and food. We were only in Syracuse overnight. I wish we’d had one more day.

The good: Syracuse has great parks in and around Onandaga Lake, a university city vibe, friendly people and many museums if that is what you are looking for. The food scene was good. The music scene was great.
It is also close to all the wineries of the fingers lake region.
The not so good: Syracuse's elevated highway system cuts up the Centertown and does make some areas look dingy and run-down. This is where the I90 and I81 intersect, along with several other limited access roads.
The hotel was clean and my room was ready when I arrived. Staff at the front desk were friendly. I only stayed one night as we were only visiting Syracuse for the day. I do recommend eating at the steakhouse in the building. The food was really good - there were so many apps that I would have loved to try, the menu is fantastic.
The staff was very friendly, helpful, and had a good sense of humor. The rooms were large and very clean as was the air in the room (i didnt need to use the air cleaner I bring with me to hotels). Bed was very comfortable! Location was a not far from anything and shuttle was always available. Parking was plentiful at hotel.
Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were excellent, very nice breakfast! Also, while we didn't bring out dog, it was lovely to know that she would have been welcomed with a modest $35 flat fee (another hotel wanted $100 fee plus $35 a day).
Had my wedding in Syracuse and we picked this hotel for everyone to stay at since the venue was so close. The staff was just so friendly and wonderful! They all kept asking me about my wedding and how it went. Room was beautiful and clean!
The location was ok I just didn’t like that upon arrival the front desk guy took forever with my card to put in for cleaning services, also I thought it was going to be more hotel feeling not like outside entrances to rooms.
our king suite room was clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was the best at any hotel we have ever stayed in. It was convenient to walk to Destiny.
Awesome location and beautiful hotel. The hotel is central to downtown Syracuse, so everything is within a 15 minute walk which was very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly!
