The environment is friendly and makes it easy to feel comfortable during the stay. They have good common area, balcony with great view and a garden. Great place to go for day hikes to nearby places like Chadwick, Viceregal Lodge and The Ridge from the property.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a nice area outside where everyone would Chat and hang out. They would build a fire, and the food is delicious. The rooms were very clean and simple. You have the fresh mountain air without the busyness of other areas, but it is walkable. You will get a little exercise going up the hill, but it’s not too far and it’s part of the adventure.

It has a beautiful terrace where you can chill out and watch amazing sunsets over the lake. Pragya and her sister Pooja were so welcoming and helpful and even upgraded me to a bigger room, free of charge, for my final two nights - so kind. I found it to be a really social hostel and met many other travelers during my stay.
