The moment you step foot in the cozy 'lobby', you are made to feel right at home. It feels more like visiting a distant relative, than checking into a hotel. We arrived after regular check-in time, and still we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and chatted for half an hour - what a difference to what you are used to. This approach directly set the tone for the rest of the stay, and I have not come across a better combination of privacy and luxury, and such a personal touch. During the whole stay, the hosts were super helpful, friendly and could not have made us feel more welcome. The rooms are nicely decorated, beds very comfortable, the view is phenomenal and the breakfast is extensive. It was a lovely experience having it served in the room, with a view over Mariazell and the valley. We had some special requests, and they were more than fulfilled, making this a truly memorable weekend. From the hotel, you get to the center of Mariazell within minutes on foot, but getting to the hotel by car is equally easy, making it a great starting point for excursions into the region.

Gasthof zum Sessellift er staðsett í Mitterbach, 38 km frá Hochschwab, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. The rooms were very clean, the furnitures, bathroom, windows, everything was high quality material. The rooms were very quiet, the beds are comfortable. The staff was very kind and flexible when we wanted to change the room, so that our rooms with the kids will be close to each other. The dinner was also delicious.

Býður upp á heilsulind og finnskt gufubað, innrauðan klefa, vellíðunarsturtu, tebar, enduropnunarsvæði og sólríka verönd með útsýni yfir Gemeindealpe. quiet location, staff very accommodating, room very spacious and well equipped. many family run restaurants within walking distance.

JUFA Hotel Ergervisee er staðsett við hliðina á íþróttamiðstöð og í 2 km fjarlægð frá miðbæ Mariazell og í 500 metra fjarlægð frá skíðasvæðinu í Bürgeralpe. Heilsulindarsvæði er í boði. Location is exceptional, both Erlaufsee and Mariazell is a walk away (<2km), breakfast and dinner buffet are versatile, fresh, well rounded and fairly priced. All but one employee were exceptionallly kind, helpfull, invested in the client. Interior rooms were great, as well as exterior. Gym has modern and well rounded machines offer. Not cheapest hotel, but not overpriced for the above mentioned. Will come back again. Especially if any aktions appear :-)

JUFA Hotel am-ráðstefnumiðstöðin Sigmundsberg er staðsett í 3 km fjarlægð frá Mariazell og býður upp á stóra innisundlaug, keilubrautir, sleðabraut og stóran garð með verönd. I like the location in quite part of the village. Great family hotel very kind people, great breakfast.

Hotel Drei Hasen hefur verið fjölskyldurekið í 5 kynslóðir. Það er staðsett í miðbæ Mariazell í aðeins 100 metra fjarlægð frá hinni heimsfrægu basilíku og í 50 metra fjarlægð frá kláfferjunni. I liked everything! The rooms were very clean and nice. The spa was excellent too! Very friendly environment and I will definitely come back. I suggest to everyone to come and stay there :)

Hotel Himmelreich er staðsett miðsvæðis í Mariazell, aðeins nokkrum skrefum frá basilíkunni. Boðið er upp á bjórgarð, veitingastað og innrauðan klefa. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði á almenningssvæðum. Nice and clean room, probably renovated lately. Hotel is located in the center of the city just above the church. Host is very helpful and offered a garage for bikes (for a 10 EUR fee). Dinner in the hotel restaurant was a decent one.

AKTIVHOTEL Weisser Hirsch er staðsett í miðbænum, aðeins 100 metrum frá Mariazell-basilíkunni. Það er með veitingastað sem framreiðir austurríska og alþjóðlega matargerð og notalegt kaffihús.
