Located in Avoch, the recently renovated Room at the Back, 2 George Street provides accommodation 18 km from Inverness Castle and 18 km from Inverness Railway Station. Rachael was really friendly and helpful and she went out of her way to help me explore the Fairy Glen hiking trail in the limited time I was there. The location was nice and central to what I wanted to see. Bus stops were very close, which made traveling easy. And I loved the personal touch with a handwritten welcome note, flowers and a little card.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Strath View on the NC 500 is set in Culbokie, 17 km from Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club and 21 km from Inverness Railway Station. Heather and Kevin were amazing hosts! Catered to our every need and made us feel very welcomed. A lot of communication in a nice way. They also have a nice jacuzzi which you can use for a small fee. Enjoyed staying at their place very much!

Featuring water sports facilities, a garden and free WiFi, Osprey, Longhouse Cottages is a recently renovated holiday home 28 km from Inverness Castle and 28 km from Inverness Railway Station. This is the most Amazing location and Kenneth was a wonderful Host 🥰 View is undescribable and the cottage was so homey and way more than expected! Close to lots of activities and a co-op and coffee shop just a few minutes drive. Would recommend this place to anyone!!

Situated in Fortrose, The Mended Drum features a garden and free WiFi. Dolphins can be seen at Chanonry Point, a 10-minute walk along the beach from the accommodation. What wonderful hosts!  I highly recommend Mended Drum. Should you to stay in the Black Isle area don't miss this opportunity to treat yourself to a delightful experience in Fortrose. Guthrie and Horst are world travelers and we engaged in interesting conversations about Scotland's history and many other topics. Such an interesting and gracious couple who treated us like family rather than guests.  Not only did they provide us with a warm, modern and clean room but also the most comfortable bed we have slept in on our month long trip.  The Mended Drum's beautiful gardens enhance the captivating views of the North Sea sunrises. The adjoining golf course is a plus for you golfers. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Guthrie and Horst!
