The hotel is comfortable, lots of character and very relaxing. We found out that the hotel is run by a family. Linda and rest of the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the garden. The room was cozy, we had restful sleep. The area is very quiet. We went into town for a bite to eat and we had fish and chips. The breakfast the next day was brilliant (compliments to the chef). Hotel suitable for all, especially ideal for golfers being right at the golf course. Would recommend this place!!!

Established in 1924, The Gleneagles Hotel is a prestigious resort in the heart of Scotland. Set within 850 acres, it offers 3 championship golf courses and an ESPA spa, along with a falconry school. The thing I loved most was the staff members, they were so nice and kind to us, It really made us feel at home. I really appreciate the amount of consideration that they had for us and all of their guests. I also loved that they had so many activities and a vast variety of restaurants available for adults and children. It was such a lovely hotel with such a beautiful land, if I could live there forever I would.

The Merryburn - Rooms and Courtyard Studios is a few minutes' walk from Dunkeld and Birnam Railway Station at the gateway to the Highlands and is a listed Victorian building. I had an amazing stay during my solo trip! The staff is extremely lovely and friendly, always willing to help and give you directions and advice for the area and local shops. Only 15 minutes walk from the restaurants/pubs of Dunkeld, and only 1 hour drive to Glenshee Ski Centre. I'll definitely be back!! Thank you again for the lovely stay 😊
