Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... Lovely lady at reception. Was a very warm welcoming person and a great choice for front of house. Facilities were great, easily organised things with reception. Good rooms with large mirrors and parking with in view of the room. In the town and yet it doesn't feel that way. Lovely area and would visit again.

In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. The room was great, a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge and very clean. We had a problem with the hot water and they fixed it very quickly even though it was new year's eve, so I really appreciated it. Breakfast was delicious and with a lot of options. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Castle Varagh Hotel & Bar has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Westmeath. What a great find. Castlepollard may not be on every tourist map yet, but it will be soon! There has recently been significant investment in this hotel and it shows; well appointed, spotless rooms, an excellent bar and restaurant, and a great team to make sure you feel right at home.
