Newly built & open since September, 2022, this hotel was most notable for its very contemporary decor and amenities, such as a heated bathroom floor, heated bathroom towels, large shower stall, water conserving bathroom faucet, 4 USB charging outlets in the room (2 at the bedside), extremely comfortable king sized bed, phenomenal room views of Lake Tekapo and its surrounding snow-capped mountains, not to also mention the complimentary milk & coffee for the room. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful & professional.

Located in Lake Tekapo, 28 miles from Mt. Dobson, Galaxy Boutique Hotel has accommodations with a shared lounge and free private parking. This 5-star hotel offers room service and a tour desk. The views from the room were great. The treatment given by the staff was wonderful and the location of the hotel was convenient. Breakfast (served at the room) was good too.

MacKenzie Country Hotel is located in Twizel, in the heart of the Aoraki Mount Cook and MacKenzie Country Region. It offers modern rooms with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast was REALLY good! Not complimentary but a great selection and everything was quite tasty.

The Heritage Gateway Hotel is situated in Omarama, at the crossroads of MacKenzie Basin, Lindis Pass and Waitaki Valley. It offers panoramic views and excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Hot breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip to New Zealand. Can’t say enough how great the staff was!

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodations located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. Big and clean room. Well equipped kitchen. Nice staff. Very good view of mt. Cook

It is spacious, very clean and the property manager responded to me immediately. Quiet location. Good off street parking. Close to shops and restaurants. Everything you need.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 29 miles from Mt. Dobson, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary Wifi. Absolutely super property. It was probably the best we stayed in during our stay in New Zealand. Stunning bedrooms both with en-suite facilities.
