It was our second time staying at Ventozelo. It is no doubt, the best property to enjoy Douro Valley. Gorgeous view of the river, amazing food, good wine, and lovely trails to enjoy.

From the breathtaking view to the delightful breakfast, there isn't a single detail left to chance. The pool is set in just the perfect spot to relax and take in the mountains and the vineyards, but it is also made for swimming. The rooms are very well thought-out, and all comforts are in hand. There is a very familiar environment but it is not invasive at all. You are welcome to make yourself at home. We had two special requests that were attended to without hesitation or any trouble at all. The price may seem a little steep... but it is so worth it!

The stay at Casal dos Capelinhos was nothing less than exceptional, it didn't only match our (very high) expectations, but also exceeded them. The staff was exceptional! They were eager to help us make the best of our stay, at the Casa as well as the Douro valley, and they were g=reat at it. The quinta is beautiful, the pool and views are breathtaking, as was breakfast, dinner, and, of course, the house wines. I highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon :)
