The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.

Kinigi Cottage is a hidden gem among the overpriced lodges of the area. We stayed in the second floor room with the huge balcony, and we had amazing views of the volcanoes nearby. The property is walking distance from the Dian Fossey museum and central to all activities in the region. Our kids had a great time playing in the beautiful gardens all around the building, and the indoor and outdoor fires added a great touch of character to our evening. We had a wonderful dinner (extra cost) and an even better breakfast with a full spread of goodies (included). I will not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone staying in the region. Perfect.

El URUGANO VIRUNGA PALACE, situado en Nyarugina, a 15 km del volcán Visoke, ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, estacionamiento privado gratuito, bar y salón compartido. Ofrece room service y terraza.... Excellent accommodation, and was kept very clean. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. They really know how to look after their guests with the extra touches such as cleaning our boots and car - this was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was also good. I will definitely return to stay here next time I'm in the area!

The location of the place is good , the staff is awesome and try their best to make sure that your stay will be the best , from the time we booked the manager was always there for us ! He is very helpful and open for all the request you can be having before and after reaching to the place ! All the Tours which were done was the best experience we ever had from Akagera game driving experience in Eastern part of the country to the gorilla trekking trip in Volcanoes National park ! and all the trips were organized by Volcanoes Over View Safaris which also owns Under Volcanoes View Guest House ! The food of the place is pretty delicious they go beyond to know that you got satisfied with the Rwandan local dishes which re really beautiful , The prices of the trips are good except the high price of gorilla which is $1500 but it was okay because i knew this 2 years before coming so the price of the accommodation , food and drinks are all good and affordable for everyone ! The rooms are super beautiful simple rooms which are equipped with amazing decorations and all the facilities , we had an high speed internet in our room , hot water for shower as well as nice and very clean towels which was important to us ! 5 stars can be rated to this amazing place and we cant wait to recommend and looking forward to coming back in 2025

This hotel is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly! After we checked out, we did a hike to the Bisoke. It was super muddy that day, so I was super dirty when returning from the hike. As I needed to head back to Kigali on the same day, I phoned the hotel and asked if I could take a quick shower, and they accepted immediately!
