The staff was lovely, so helpful and nice. The sauna was great too, big and clean, and with good showers. The hostel is located very centrally, so it only takes a few minutes to get to a restaurant, the supermarket or the train station.

This hotel is in Abisko, just 2 minutes’ walk from Abisko Östra Train Station. Abisko Mountain Lodge’s in-house restaurant Brasserie Fjällköket has a seasonal menu based on locally sourced... Incredible getaway - it’s so secluded and so special compared to anywhere else I’d been. The lodge also is very easily reachable ( 3 min walk from Abisko ostra), and it helps organise any activities that might be interesting while in the arctic circle. Also the food was absolutely delicious.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Shared bathrooms were 2 private stalls, easy and convenient. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Other guests were respectful. Staff was somewhat absent, but very friendly and accommodating. Room had a good view to keep a watch for the lights!

The house was very nicely designed and very well maintained. Everything one needs for a stay and more was available. The hosts were very welcoming. The location is very close to the ski-lift.
